I am fairly new to this game, but I thought I had everything under control. I have only played 27 hours, but I have a problem. When I turned my Palm on, the garden was gone and my villagers food supply is dwindling. I have just about everybody working on the garden now....watering, planting, etc, but its still just a field. Is this a bug? Besides the berry bush is there another source of food at Level 2 harvesting?

The farm has crop cycles just like a real farm, and it supplies a certain amount of food with each crop. The frequency of the crops is determined by your game speed setting. If you have a lot of villagers (more than 15 or so, including babies and children), the amount of food you get from each crop may not be enough to keep the food supply stable between crops. Even if the food in the bin is depleted, your villagers will not die immediately, though. You might want to start having them work at the research table whenever the farm is empty so that you'll gain enough points to purchase the final level of harvesting, since only the farm and the berry bush are available at your current level. They won't gain as much farming experience if you do that, but your villagers will be able to go fishing sooner, and food will no longer be a problem.

When I read the subject line, I thought it was my problem also. My real garden does not bloom any longer, so I only have 11 problems to solve.

I do have a suggestion for the new release...could you PLEASE remove that darned laundromat on Isola?? These are either the cleanest people I've ever met or they are all OCD. O.K. You can't remove the laundromatl; could we at least get tech points to buy detergent?

You're not the only one to note the obsessive cleanliness of the villagers! If you search the forum for laundry, you'll see some funny discussions about it. One of the forum regulars even had an avatar for awhile that showed what the inside of the laundry hut would look like if we could see it. It was very cute!
