Many friends I have met,
from far and from wide.
Like me, they all have,
some Villager pride!

I've learned to write poems,
though that may surprise some,
but until here I first tried it,
I'd not really wrote one.

Oh don't get me wrong,
for o'er a lifetime I've read,
Frost, Scott and others,
who's prose filled my head.

But reading, and writing,
are two different things!
Whils't reading is fun,
it doesn't skill bring.

I've learned how to play,
my Villager games,
for that is the reason,
why most of us came.
