I decided to start a new game (VV3) When I open the game, I found I had one adult male, four females and two little boys. And he's the chief! I named him Solomen; with four wives, he will need it!

I'm nursing one now that started with three adult females, a nursing mother, one male and two female children. The baby also was a female and fortunatly my chief was one of the females so I got her pregnant right away. Now we pray for this next baby to be a male.

It looks like I should have followed your lead and started a new game when I opened and saw only one male but alas I am to far into it now.
My update is now the next was a male but now followed by two more females. I guess this is going to be tough to keep alive so will have to play it only when I'm sitting right in front of the computer and pray for the canoe event when another male shows up to breed my ladies with so brother is not mating with his sisters. Yuck, no mating this little guy unless the canoe even happens soon.
