i have 9 villagers and i tried the cape on all of them and it didn't fit. Do i need to do anything or do i need more villagers.
Am I missing something. thanks

do you have any babies or nursing moms?

What I have done is to pause the game (so the villagers stop moving around) and then move ALL the villagers at once to the robe to try it on. Then, when you un-pause the game, one of them should become the chief!

After I lost my first chief, it took several babies to get a new one. I did try all the other villagers. You'll get there eventualy.
