So, during game play, I get one of those little orange screens pop up telling me that one of my villagers found this beautiful crystal that had the gal mesmerized and had a strange hold on her. The box asked if she should keep the crystal or throw it away. Since it seemed to be an addiction to her, I chose to have her throw it away...the prompt then told me that she found herself with an identical twin!! Problem is as soon as this doppelganger arrived, she (the twin) stood in the middle of the village with her head spinning for a minute! And talk about LAZY!!! You have to take her to a task 5 0r 6 times before she decides to do it on her own!

I have seen somewhere (maybe in the sticky thread aboutEvents) that the 2nd twin has the opposite likes/dislikes of the 1st one!! Maybe your second twin will be very clever at every task!!

(5 or 6 times! that's normal to learn!!)

I just got the evil twin thing this evening and wouldn't you know it, it was of my chief. So I'm wondering, other than the evil twin having the opposite likes and dislikes, is there anything wrong with them? Are they going to do terrible things to my tribe? Is it ok to make them parents or will their children be bad somehow? So far, other than taking a bit to get working they seem fine (though that head spinning thing at the beginning was definitely creepy).

They will dislike learning and working...

I have had that event twice and the first time when the twin showed up his actions said he was being 'sinister' or something like that. I was afraid he was going to do something bad so I quickly picked him up to disrupt his action. It never happened again.

I had that event with a male village when he was 14 and one like work and learning and the other dislikes them and can I get him to do anything no-way. In the end I tried him on everything and now he is a trainee in all skills, yet he never become adept in anything until He was 18, thats when I then put him to parenting and guess what, he is after all the females and soon was adept parent at 18 and not far off from master.

Yep I had it. When I found him he was "Being Sinister" Kinda creepy!

Beware of the evil twin making Crystal!!!!!!!

I've had it a couple of x's, and I choose diffrent option's, but alway's end up w/ a lazy doppleganger!~Weird

That's werid, most people choose to keep it and it generates the twin, choosing to throw it away usually doens't do anything.

In reviewing my "evil twin's" likes and dislikes I'm thinking she isn't a true evil twin because she actually has a couple things in common with the original and also a like and dislike that has nothing to do with the original. Still, she appeared after the crystal event and her head did spin around so... hehe Thankfully she works hard and isn't any more difficult to train than others, in some cases she's much easier. So far her children don't seem evil either! LOL

I've had it twice in two different tribes. They were hard to train but I eventually found one skill they liked and they kept at it although they tend to wander off more than other villagers
