My statue appears to be stuck at the top of the path. No one is willing to work on it.

I have updated to version 4 but no joy...

I'm having the same issue with no one wanting to push it any further. I am maxed out on all tech areas and they won't try to push it. The chief won't even try to direct work at the statue anymore.

Help me please. I've been pushing the statue for like 10 days now. Its at the top of the hill, and nothing is happening. The people are still pushing the statue, and I have trainee builders on the statue, but nothing is happeneing still.

Can someone please help me?

Try dropping your chief on the path up.

Put him on several places everywhere on the path and look at what it "says"! Start on the lower part of the path. Be patient, it will happen!

My villagers are willing, they are all Masters or Adepts, they keep on task, the ChieF directs, but they have the statue at such a strange angle at the bottom of the path, I'm not sure they can turn it. They've pulled it over the plant on the other side of the path at the bottom, and now it's doesn't seem to be moving...any ideas how to fix this, anyone? I have the 4 version.

I think that's what my problem is that it's stuck in such a way they can't turn and maybe that's why they don't want to finish the task any suggestions?????

One more thing...I've just discovered that the villagers work in shifts. If you keep them all on Building, and there isn't much room, some will go do other things. But when a villager gets tired and leaves off pushing, another will fill the place he/she left. I don't bother them. They're actually doing very well, but I'm still worried about the angle of the statue. Getting it turned is going to be problematical, I think.

The Chief won't direct work if a villager is sick, so be sure to check for that and have your doctor heal any sick ones. Also, don't drop the Chief ON the statue, drop him/her lower down on the ramp.

I don't think the angle of the statue matters. It kind of just lays across the path and looks like nothing is happening, for what seems like hours, and then BOOM it's fixed.

Ahhh...excellent! Right now it says 11 hours and some minutes until it's fixed. I'm not worried about the time, actually, just that things seem to keep moving! They work right through rain, fog, sun, whatever. When one gets tired or there's no more room, he leaves for a bit to do something else, and then someone else will run and take his place. As long as I don't meddle with this, I think I will be alright! X! Crossing my fingers!

The thing is, the game isn't three-dimensional. I'm sure others have noticed occasions, particularly when dropping a villager someplace 'impossible' (Like into deep forest, or a child in the ocean) when your villagers pop on top of some impassible obstacle, and walk onto normal terrain?

Without a 3d-engine and collision detection, I don't think the angle will matter. This is all, of course, speculation, but I don't see why LDAW would even introduce the possibility ofsuch a problem, when they can just script the path the statue will take, instead.
