They're actually doing very well, but I'm still worried about the angle of the statue. Getting it turned is going to be problematical, I think.
The thing is, the game isn't three-dimensional. I'm sure others have noticed occasions, particularly when dropping a villager someplace 'impossible' (Like into deep forest, or a child in the ocean) when your villagers pop on top of some impassible obstacle, and walk onto normal terrain?
Without a 3d-engine and collision detection, I don't think the angle will matter. This is all, of course, speculation, but I don't see why LDAW would even introduce the possibility ofsuch a problem, when they can just script the path the statue will take, instead.
