thank you for the help.

my statue is done. my huts are all done. my builders all died because it took more than 3 days to finish the statue. i have put my builder on the huts MANY times (lots more than 10) and it is getting very frustrating. i have to pause the game every time i go away from the computer. every time i am at the game ALL i can do it put my builder on the hut again and again. i will try the potion to make him run and cross my fingers. i do not believe that i made a mistake with my tribe. it was not in my control, there was a (well-documented) problem with the building of the statue.

THanks for the correction, Becca. I couldn't remember the correct potion. Anyway, I got five new trainee builders from it quicker than normal..lol.

I think once you select easy, normal, or hard from the options, you are stuck and cannot change it mid-game but I could be wrong.

Lady said if he already have some skills, some improved skill don't count.

That's not what I said. All skill improvement "counts." However, since the skill bar increases in segments, you may not see the improvement until they've gained skill several times (depending upon how skilled they already are.

it takes at least 10-15 improvements to move the bar. it is very frustrating because it takes so long for him to finish "fixing the hut" to get one improvement. even with the running potion it still takes him just as long to fix the hut...

OK Here's one I Haven't seen....what is this compulsion to do laundry or worry about food? My villagers can't get anything done because they'd rather worry about food than harvest honey. Or I leave them alone for the night only to find out they were doing laundry. Am I a hard task master? Do they not like me? Have I been too harsh? I haven't grounded any one!!!! Boo Hoo!!Can't complain cause no one listens to me. Boo Hoo!!!

Poor nightengale! I don't think you are so much harsh!
You know, at the beginning, the villagers are not very clever and you must insist a lot to teach them. Later, it will go better. Just be patient with them! \:\)

How about having the chief lecturing the children. On a daily basis they continue to acquire skills.

Ohoh! You can't pause your game while they are doing the statue? No wonder so many Adept and Master Builders pass away!

I am not sure where you got this information, but it is not correct. You CAN pause your game while they are doing this. Your villagers will NOT age or die while your games is on pause. But, they will not work either.
