Okay I had all but 2 of my workers on this hut. I have one researchin and another as a doctor. the master farmer leaves ever so often to harvest. How long does this hut take? I am on fast and they have been working on it all day today. I have also had the chief directing work and it is still only at 45 percent!
Is it just a long long time for this hut??

It seemed like it took a long time for me...days. But I run mine on different speeds depending on how much attention I can pay to the games. I think it's normal for it to take awhile.

Do you check and see what percentage has been completed?

It has been on 45% for 2 real hours on fast! Driving me crazy!!! They will leave and go clear rubble or repair bath and I make them go back. It is like they are just being brats!!!

Mine took really long too! I usually would have about 6 people working on it, including a couple Masters. I was playing it on slow because I was having to deal with my starving Nature Tribe!

Starving Nature tribe? LOL I am sorry but the food is supposed to replentish faster on Nature isn't it??
I did find that they wanted to clear rubble so I moved them all over there and am going to make them finish clearing it before we go anywhere near the hut again. I am trying to get my people masters in at least 3 areas so I am really wanting them to work on the building. I had some die out on me in VV2 and took forever to get them back to Masters so I make sure I have them Masters in more than one area!

HAHAHA I know!! It does not make any sense, all of them are too dumb to research for long enough that I can get the plant to make the skarks go away!! So I've been babying them then pausing that game until Chief lady can make magic food.

Mine took ages too, in both games I played. As for nature replenishing food? I'd hate to see how slow the magic faction replenishes food.

I also found that they DO want to clear the rubble. I found this on my first tribe, so on all the other tribes that I have started since, I wouldn't let them touch the rubble until the second hut was finished being built. I also don't let them touch any of the other projects until it is finished. Make sure that you have your Chief directing work on this hut. That helps too.

Yes, they sure are a little obsessed about that rubble, but I still start to work on it as soon as I can, I want to start collecting tablet pieces. However, my workers haven't caused too much trouble about working on other projects, they tried to sneak out a few times, but then got used to working on the project I gave them. Hmm, of course I watch them constantly, never leave them on their own for long.
