I chose the Magic Faction because the idea of the Northern shore interested me, but I have been at my maximum population (with all items collected) of 125 for almost a day now and nothing has happened regarding the shore. Any idea when it might? I had hoped that it might be an extra area to explore, but now I am guessing it will be a message to say that a % of my crew have left.

Also, the oldest I have managed to get a villager to is 79, quite some way from being in the 90s - can it be done when you have chosen Magic?

On a non-Magic topic, has anyone found that the "fertile" potion helps with multiple births? It doesn't seem to do much for my chars.

I tried using the fertile potion before, and it doesn't seems to work.. At first i thought i might even get a twins
However the woman didn't even get a single baby!

I experimented with the fertility potion by using it on a woman over 50. She felt fertile, but it seems that it was just a feeling, nothing came up with.

Barhi, what is the mention of the northern shore and Magic? Where did you see it? The Secret City itself is on the northern shore of Isola.

While Magic allows a higher maximum population, Nature increases the villagers' longevity. I don't know if it's impossible to get a 90-year-old playing the Magic faction, it's certainly less likely.

Arnie, the mention of the north shore is in the official guide (Page 4) - it says "Later to how they populate the north shore , resulting in the ability to grow their numbers beyond what was thought possible".

Ah, yes. That's in the beginning part, giving the details of the founders of the city and the two factions.
