I haven't tried it for very long, and I AM only using the demo (since I haven't purchased it), but I was able to load Village Sim on my Pocket PC using the Style Tap application. yay! Can't wait to actually play it.

I'd really like to hear how that works for you! I tried it about six months ago on my hx4700, and the performance was not good enough to make it enjoyable to play Village Sim that way. It 'worked' but was agonizingly slow on my device.

The speed is definitely decent now. Of course, I have never tried it on a Palm so I don't really have anything to compare the speed to.

I've been waiting for it to hit PPC until I read this post. I downloaded both trial applications and it runs perfectly on my Axim X30. The font is a little hard to read, but the speed looks just fine.

While Village Sim is planned for the PPC, development work won't begin until after the v1.1 update is released for the Palm. What's being used here is an application called StyleTap that allows Palm applications to run on PPCs.

please tell me how you got it too work on you pocketpc, (keep in mind im very new to my ppc) I have downloaded the demo, but am clueless about what to do with the files inside.Thanks!

In order to run Village Sim on a Pocket PC, you'll also need the StyleTap application. StyleTap provides an emulator that enables Palm applications to run on a Pocket PC. The link to StyleTap is contained in the post directly above yours. Just follow the instructions provided with StyleTap to install it and any Palm applications you want to run. You should install the trial of Style Tap, as well as the trial of Village Sim, to make sure that everything works on your device before you purchase them.

I'm not aware of a PPC emulator for the Palm, Brenda. Anyone else know if one exists??

i was away for a long time... now im back! anyways When you guys planning to relase V1.1 im not buying it until then becuase its a *Maintance* Update and the new Vers will not work with previous ones...i don't wanna loose progress! on a further note Since palm is more popular there are more items "leaching" from it so i doubt there is one for micro devices convert to palm... besides billy is too cheap to make somthing like that...
