Thanks everyone, I'll keep you posted. I have another tribe who had a runner, but it was when I first started playing and I didn't know what I was doing. Didn't even notice the Awards page for a while, lol! That runner, sadly, is now gone. He has one of the original tombstones. I haven't had a runner since. Now in this second tribe, the one where I've been working on creating a JOAT or JOAF (?) I haven't let the game run unless I'm playing it. I pause it when I'm not actually playing. So every bit of progress has been painstakingly eked out. \:\) But I really have hope with her (I named her Becca -- the game named her Buca) so I'm pausing it so that I can control what happens.

I have three meza 55, Vanau 39 and Daku 60. Meza and Daku I had to make them tell stories to children to make the master parents, i tried putting them together after 50 to gain skill for parent but never moved. If you are stuck making master parent have them read to kids.

Thanks ya'll. I had been having problems figuring out how to get a Jack of All Trades. I really hated to just click parenting on the detail screen, if it's a male---they keep all the breedable age women PG all the time, so they accomplish nothing else--and, of course, a female just stays pregnant all the time---no time to complete the other four tasks. The key here is post menopausal women!!!!! I got it!!! Gonna go try now!!!

Got my Jack of All Trades when she was 40. Master Parent is easy, if you do it during a time when you're at your population limit. OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

Yay! My child prodigy is now 37, lol! And I looked to make sure I still didn't have a Jack of All Trades (which I didn't) but all her bars were way up except for the Parent bar, which was ALMOST as high. I clicked on parent and had her read to two kids. Still didn't quite do the trick. So, I let her go embrace (yech! Picked the wrong guy -- but luckily it didn't 'take') then I dropped her on the guy that had fathered her other kids. It 'took' and then I looked again and I now have my first Jack of All Trades. Yay!

Hi Everyone! I just to throw something out there that I haven't seen mentioned in increasing parenting skills; it's a good way to do that and 'teach' children. If you drop an adult on a child, they will change to "telling stories" and both will go to the ampitheater.. that's a way to increase parenting even when there aren't women available to get pregnant. It works for the men, too!

Hope that helps a bit! \:\)

A sad update. My JOAT has passed. When I first started playing, she was one of the original members. There were two younger than her and now, there is only one member left alive out of the original tribe and she is 71. So sad. I know it's dumb, but I felt so sad when I opened my game this morning and found her gone. Then a little bit later, the Chief had passed as well. The chief had been two years younger than my JOAT and did get me the Award for having a chief for at least 50 years.

I can't believe how attached I was to them and how I miss them. :-(
