All of my villager are being born without any skill, likes or dislikes, and they are not fully healthy. This is happening in both my tribes (magic/nature) and with different mother/father combinations. I read the _bug_ list and this didn't seem to be on it. My count is up to 12 children being born this way.

It is not uncommon for children to be born without likes/dislikes and in need of a little health boost. it is uncommon for them to be born with skills...so it sounds like your tribe is okay.

Good Luck! \:\)

Thanks! I am used to these things happening from VV1 and VV2. But when it started being every child born, I freaked out.

make a potion of lotus cactus lotus...this will revive their health...if it's way down..you'll have to make a couple batches to get all their health back..cause they are only allowed to eat once from each batch..hope that helps

Or don't make any healing potion because it might cause a blow-up. The health bars will increase on their own over time as your children grow up.

It isn't too far down, usually a trip to the food bin works. Just when they grow up since they have absolutly no skill at all (chief refuses to teach) it takes a while to get them to do any job.

Yeah, it seems to take longer in VV3 to make unskilled villagers become Trainees.

My villagers are still being born without any skills at all, and with 3/4 health. They do dislike things now though. Any imporovement is better than none I guess. After I finish all the puzzles for this tribe I'm going to reinstall the game, hoping this _bug_ will take care of itself.

Most babies aren't born with skills. That comes from lectures and learning with the chief. Also, babies always show up with some health missing. A nice healing potion does the trick immediately.
