i am guessing the graveyard holds only 50 markers
but what about the roster of the dead?
does it hold more names ?

The Roster of the Dead doesn't have the limitations that the graveyard has. When you get more than 10 names on the roster, the list scrolls to show you everyone who has died. I have a roster in a gmae right now with well over 150 names on it.

Those limited graveyards in previous games really upset me. After a certain point, I couldn't keep up with those who'd died. I like the Roster. I haven't lost any villagers, yet. But I like the idea of being able to remember more than those few, when it gets to that point.

We become so attached to our little people, we don't want them forgotten.
