Yeah, I understand what you mean. But there does come a time in these games when you get stuck, and have been stuck for awhile. That's when a game hint or tip really comes in handy. Like in vv1, I worked for 5 generations first time I played it, trying to get my people to move that stupid boulder!
That brings back memories
Sadly, I looked at the guides alot while playing VV and VV2, but I've done VV3 all by myself, that is to say, I still got one puzzle to go, but I've as good as finished the game.
But yes, these games are too short otherwise, though I'm a big fan of open ended games, so I keep on playing regardless
