I have 2 children that I cannot see. They are in the detail, but when I try to find them to use them to pick up collectibles or mushrooms, they are not there. I do not even see the white circle that usually surrounds a villager that is selected. Anyone else have this issue?

Are you sure they are not under the tree or the staute?

No. When I click "done" on the detail screen I am brought to the fire pit area. No children, no white circle.

I lost a child for a while, same thing, no white circle was showing -- I eventually found him just behind the sewing hut -- I also lost an adult who was fishing, they were gone for a long time but eventually he showed back up.

OMG, I am getting this same issue, I see him on detail but when I click done, which generally takes you to that villager, it just goes to one of the 3 huts. Could he have gone from nursing baby to child inside of one the huts during a rainstorm?

Good news! Both of my invisible children just turned 4 and now both are visible and can be selected and moved.

I've had this a couple times, but mine disappear and reappear. They sneak off into the huts, sometimes I'll see them coming back out again but occasionally they'll be gone for hours. I know one dislikes rain, and runs off whenever it pours, but the other one just vanishes. Very odd.

Maybe our villagers are trying to form some sort of a secret society againist the holy hand. Maybe one day we will open the game and find our villagers demonstrating againist the cruelty of the great hand, rebelling and taking control of their village

Yes, I have had this happen a few times. One time it was my master builder *when I was trying to finish the last puzzle!* and he was my only one at the time, so I was very upset that he decide to play 'hide and seek' with me for over 30 minutes. Very weird. And he was over 65! When he finally 'appeared' he showed up around the kid's bathroom! \:\) No idea what he was doing.. maybe it was an alien abduction! He was kind of lazy and weird after that.. \:\)

You may be on to something. We work our villagers 24/7. We make them drink bad potions just to improve healing skills, we won't let them get a drink or do the laundry...

I feel that joining the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Villagers would be hypocritical of me.
