not sure if anyone else's game does this or if it is my own personal glitch (one that is a blessing). I saw somewhere (I think in Village Monk's guide) that someone had decided to see how many kids they could get to carry one mushroom. I decided to try it with a collectable. So, I paused my game, put all my kids on it, and all but two kids grabbed an item. I got tech points for each item. You have to have four or more kids if you want more than one kid to pick it up. But it is a nice little surprise and helps speed up getting tech points. Just wanted to share with you guys.

i did that with one of my tribes. I had 27 kids, all of them but two grabbed the item but since it was only a common item and not part of a full collection yet i only got 100 tech points per item. the one i'm playing now, i have 4 kids and i put them on a rare shell, my complete collection, and i got 3000 tech points cause two took them. lol...it was great

Is that a glitch in an earlier version, or does it still work?

Is that in VV 2 or in VV 3? I haven't been able to get it work in 2 or 3. Didn't try more than two kids, though.

i have done it in both VV1 and VV2. Some say it can be done in VV3 but i have only gotten to play the free trial so I can't be sure.

I did it in VV1 but tried several time in VV2 and lost the item because the two were fighting over it! (jsut kidding) I think they fixed it.

It's possible in VV3, but there's a trick to it, and you can't get more than four at the very most on one collectible.

In VV2 the two oldest kids will fail to pick up a common collectible (or a mushroom). Therefore you need a minimum of four kids to get the collectible more than once.

If an uncommon or rare collectible appears for the first time all the kids (including the oldest ones) will be able to pick it up, but once it appears again it will be treated like a common collectible and the oldest two will fail.

VV3 is different. I've never managed to get more than four on a collectible, but I suppose it is theoretically possible to get more if you are very fast.
