I actually don't mind that there aren't any totems. This way I don't have to worry about putting the totems somewhere. It actually seems a lot easier to get Esteemed Elders now than it was in VV2.

yea I also wish there could be totems but instead the first five villagers that become EE's get a totem & the rest just get the title because with 50 the screen gets kinda crammed

I miss the totems, too. I think there should be one totem for each combination. The first one who gets a certain combo, the first of another certain combo, etc. After that, there should be a special momento or something on their gravestone. Besides just "Esteemed Elder".

They did overcrowd the village too much, but it was fun to decorate the area with different totems.
