I have level 1 magic, and level 2 restoration. And am cycling through jobs. As soon as they master 1 skill I set them on another. But I am not advancing in tech points. I have 3K and dont seem to be getting anymore.

I dont want to make any more villagers as I am struggling to feed the ones I have. I am trying to double up on the kids picking mushrooms and collectibles, but am having difficulties. I get it right about 20% of the time. But I am now running out of kids. My last 2 are 13. So shortly they will no longer collect.

Any ideas on how to speed up my tech so that I can feed my villagers.

How many villagers do you have at the moment? Until the sharks puzzle is solved the maximum you can manage to feed without running into too much difficulty is 12. Even then you may have to rely on mushrooms.

I put one villager on farming and the rest on research. Getting master builders can wait until I can afford to expand the tribe. If the food runs out switch the farmer to research at once - although it's important not to forget to put him back to farming when honey or fruit is replenished to avoid starvation!

I do like Arnie said and keep everyone on research until I can get the shark puzzle done. I do make sure I have enough villagers trained (I only train as many as I need) to make the lift but as soon as they are trained I switch them to research.

In this tribe, I have 11 Due to 2 events I have not added to it intentionally. Has anyone actually clocked the re-harvest? I have 2 master builders , 1 master farmer, 1 Master Scientist. The 4 working adults I started with. The builders were trainees, and I set them to fixing the hut.

So, even after they attain master scientist, they still earn tech points?

That is when the attain tech points the most.

Master scientists produce the most tech points! They are the ones who especially need to be at the research table when you're trying to get tech points.

Does getting the science really help? SHould I spend the first 11K on that, and then aim for the level 2?

I usually make that my second purchase, after L2 Restoration.
