Well, I put my little chief (10 years old) on the top of the path, I had to wait a little then suddenly he spined round and round and pointed his arm toward the reef.
And, you know what? On the reef, I found the last rare feather that I needed to complete that collection!!

Hmm...I will start to pay attention to where they're pointing instead of just searching up and down all over again and again. Congratulations on completing the feathers. I still need one rare.

Isla, one of the game developers already indicated that the pointing is not indicative of the precise direction. It was just a coincidence that it worked out that way for Laurence.

That's what I thought--that the pointing was irrelevant but at this point, I'm willing to try anything. I am only missing one rare collectable and having been searching like crazy the past few days and gotten squat. The last three times I used my chief nothing happened.

Where on the top of the path do you put the chief--like by the door? And how do you know that you have placed him in the right spot?

Amelia, place the chief next to the door on the path. you'll know when the chief is in the right spot as he/she will be "Pointing out a rare collectible". Good luck!
