My new Chief, now age 8, refuses to lecture. She makes food, and points out rare object, but won't lecture when dropped on a child.

All my old Chiefs worked as expected.

Is this a _bug_?

A child chief does have some limitations, including not being able to lecture other children. Your chief will be able to use this skill after he or she reaches age 18.
