The honey takes forever and doesn't give you much.

Highlight for spoiler
I did get a bee event that gave me an additional 500 or so honey.

the fruit and the honey never replenished. I only have 3 villagers left. No food, and no where near the tech points for level 2 faction.

Any ideas as to what I can do? Or how to get my tree to reproduced since it is supposed to be unlimited?

Trees are not an unlimited supply of food. They do replenish, but they are not unlimited.

See if anything in this post can help you. Help

Honey, in particular, replenishes by only a little at a time. If you spent a few moments away from the computer it is quite likely that it replenished and was harvested by your farmer without you noticing.

ok I think I am gonna scratch this tribe. When I started I made 6 of them... lol to many to maintain correctly once the game really gets going.

I didnt know that you had to pause each game indepently, and It was left on normal all night.

This thread may give some insight into the frequency of food regeneration. Honey regenerates at 2 food per hour (Almost nothing, and more is required before you're permitted to harvest it) and trees regenerate 111 food every third hour, assuming normal speed and no faction chosen.

possible spoiler

trees and honey can only support a tribe of 10 to 12 people if you have more than that you will have to search for mushrooms constantly for your tribe to survive with out the unlimited supply of fish

Actually, trees and honey can support three people, if the numbers I have are correct. They can support 10-12 for plenty of time to finish your research, but you cannot support that many forever; the food will eventually run out without mushroom-hunting to supplement the trees.
