Does anyone else have trouble when they pause and then leave the game? When I come back, no of my villagers are where I left them, and sometimes I even have more tech, and people are older, but it still says paused when I come back.

What version do you have? (bottom left of main menu screen)

Changing positions is normal. Pausing does not save the villager's locations, so when you come back they may be in a different location.

However, everything else doesn't sound normal. They should not age, and you should not have more tech or food.
