I am probably in the wrong spot but i would like some help finding my chief? I have 3 games running at the same time with different tribe names. I could only find my chief in 1 of them. Can anyone help?

Or the chief could be the nursing mom, who won't be able to try on the robe until she has finished nursing.

Hollster,
On the off chance you missed a step... you are having your villagers try on the robe and are waiting for them to shake their head or whatever before moving on to the next villager?

If you can't seem to find the one who should be chief, exit and reenter the game. The game is programmed to make sure SOMEONE is the chosen one, in case the chosen one dies. Note that if you got your chosen one preggers, you'll have to wait until she is done nursing.

Hollster, you are not the only one who has trouble finding a chief. When the tribe is small like 8 to 15 people it seems easy. But then that tribe begins to grow. I have found a strategy for me is to start with the youngest villager and go through each one by using the detail area. Usually it is the 7 yr old who then becomes the new chief. The oldest I have had is in his/her 50's.

I had one in his 60s. I like the chief feature in game, but I'm not sure why the game can't just allow anyone who first tries on the robe to become the chief.

We assume the chief will be an adult. I found a 6 year old child who fit the robe. It's great he can still pick up items like a child, but also act as chief.

The very first villager I put on the robe turned out to be the chief - a four year old girl! She's adorable, running around, telling people what to do, but still taking sandcastle breaks and time to dance!

There might be a few reasons:
1)Your nursing mom is the chief. 2)The baby(who is wrapped with some white cloth)is the chief. 3)You missed out one of your villagers, especially those fishing, its hard to see them. 4)_bug_ :X

Yes, indeed! I have a chief in one of my games that is only three years old. And, another thing that is great is that chiefs of any age will gather firewood, stand on the lift, and other small tasks, even though they don't do any real work.
I have to share this though, I had my child chief stand on the lift until a seed dropped down to be planted. When I placed the child chief on the seed to plant it -- he would not do so, instead he took off running and the action caption read, "Looking for mommy!" I just found that adorable, really...not sure why that happened, but I thought it was cute!
