I think that Chaylse is correct, you can *try* to use potions, but in VV3 there is no potion or combination of potions that will completely finish off a villager. The "yikes" potion will weaken them if used repeatedly, but it will not kill them.

As for whether it's 'wrong' or 'mean,'each player should decide that for themselves.

*speechless*...well, yes Becca that would be awful. 'Real-life' can be far more cruel that anyone at LDW could think of putting in a game and it is nice to hope that each of us aspires to be as kind as possible...in real life. You are right, in real life we should not judge or distain people for being red-headed, blonde, fat, poor, disabled, stupid, lazy or otherwise, and to to practice those ethics in the game is good exercise. But try to remember that this is a game that provides a break from reality, it's not real life. What people sometimes miss in real life is the choice to conduct their life as they see fit. And when they have that choice taken away it can be frustrating.

For someone to harm your red-headed best friend would be considered cruel...in real life, to remove a villager from the tribe is not necessarily cruel...it all depends on intent. Maybe if a villager could be removed by means other than poisoning it would be easier to see. If they were removed and sent to a bigger better island maybe that would help, or if they were returned to civilization...no, that would be cruel With my luck my villager would arrive on land and immediately get an IRS audit....anyway, I only say this to help keep things in perspective. I hope it helps...

LDW want the game to be suitable for all ages. If it were possible to kill a villager on purpose some people could use that as a reason to deny the game the necessary certificate.

Ah, well, see, that makes sense...so what about letting them win a lotto of sorts and send them to another island to check out what's there. I've seen a movie like that and it seemed to work for them...for awhile anyway.

Hi there - just new to the forum but as a red head myself had to add my 2 cent's. I have just had a new addition to my tribe - her hair is not just red but scarlet (I have called her Pepper)- hurrah for red heads.

As a mother of a redhead, perhaps I favor my ginger villagers, but it does seem they have the most talent and learning abilities. My 7 year old chief had glorious red spiral curls - I was so sorry to see them gray with age.
But then I was rewarded with a little girl with the most beautiful PURPLE hair. Wow! I really like the new styles! I have a little junior 'Rambo' running around right now, complete with khakis and a leafy headband! Too cute.

I'm a redhead, too. Was disappointed that one of my Founders was a redhead, but none have been produced since. And he's dead, now. Too bad you can't import your "gingers" to my village. I'd happily take them off your hands. I have a hard time getting them.
