Hi all,

Sorry to post this to the general forum, but I'm hoping someone from the staff will respond to me. I'm having the "typical" statue problem: statue stuck high on trail, and chief won't direct/builders won't push.

I'm running 1.00.02 on a Mac and I pm'ed Arthur yesterday, per his request regarding Macs, but I haven't heard back. The problem is: I can't play at all, because my Master Builders are aging, and the younger builders only have fixing huts to attain Adept status, and that takes a (very) long time.

I'm home on a long weekend with sinusitis and would really like to be playing. Is there someone besides Arthur who can send me the fix? I'm generally a patient person, but I'm starting to become a little irritated.

Well, this is a holiday weekend and all of us here at LDW have been working insane hours for months. We realize that there are issues, and we are trying to be as responsive as we can, but sometimes "real life" intervenes. You could always pause your game to stop the aging until you hear from Arthur.

I do understand the situation. I used to be an administrator for a software developing company, and I know what it's like to get out a large project. And with all of us "beta-testers", the developing is not even over...

If this was during the week, no problem. But I'm stuck at home with sinusitis, and playing the game would be just the ticket. And I *did* pay for the game (as well as VV2 and Plant Tycoon. I'm a loyal fan).

Arthur didn't tell me why he wants to handle this issue personally, but he does. I usually have the ability to assist people with issues like this, but he is handling this one himself. I expect to talk to him this afternoon, and I'll mention that you're waiting for help.

I got exactly the same problem. The staue is at the top of the path, but no builders or chief will work on it anymore.

I am running 1.00.03 and before that 1.00.02 on a PC running Vista.

Is there already a solution known?

I have the same problem and am also running windows Vista. I downloaded the patch and they still won't do anything. I did get my MB to build one thing of scaffolding, but know nobody will stay there!!!! Frustrated!!!

1.00.03 fixes most problems with the statue. For PC, you should be looking at the help in this thread. Some people have found that uninstalling v1.00.02 (or v1.00.03, if you didn't uninstall the earlier version first) and reinstalling v1.00.03 resolves the problem. You can back up your savegame files first, if you like, by following these procedures.

I am having the same problem here with this. They have it stuck at the top and will not do anything. I am running in Windows XP and haven't ever had the 1.00.2, only the 1.00.3, so I am insanely confused and frustrated with this one.
