Has anyone else had a REALLY slow child? She is about the speed of an elderly persn and she's not sick!

That can happen, and if you look in the "Dislikes" description, you will se as a dislike "running"

Yes - for some reason if they dislike running they don't even like walking at normal pace.

I say drop them a couple of hemlock potions

When I have a villager that dislikes running it is decided from the moment they are born what they will do with their life.

Female, research until 18 then they become professional mommies then back to research when they hit 50.
Male, research until they die of old age.

When they are just little tots, I avoid using them for ANYTHING!

Sometimes an event can make them slow.
