the statue puzzle must be completed, must be running version 3...for the clam key, after the statue has been completed you need a master builder to pick up the blue pearl(which appears after the statue has been completed) the master builder will finish it to a blue pearl, then place a MASTER SCIENTIST NOT A TRIBAL CHIEF !!! to finish the pearl if you try a tribal chief or anyone else you will get a message not enough skills... the master scientist will finish the pearl, after the pearl has been finished THEN place the TRIBAL Chief over the pearl to place in the snapping clam !

2°- a master scientist
3°- the tribal chief

I didn't know that because my tribal chief, who was the 2nd one, was Esteemed Elder (Master Farmer, Builder and Scientist) He has done all the work himself!
But he was also elderly, so he took his time!!!!!
