Do the tablet pieces stop appearing after you have finished with that puzzle? I am short 2 rare ones and have not seen ANY for 2 days.
I also just want to add that I miss the shell, etc. on the roof of the hut that shows you have found all of a certain type of collectable.

No, they should still appear but very infrequently it seems. Not as often as the other three types of collectibles. I found a couple rare after I finished the puzzle you are talking about.

Actually, collecting all of one collection improves the physical aspects of the science building. When I got all the turtle shells, the lower walls were finished off, the gate to the alchemy pot got finials on each piece, and the top walls became better fitted, so the collections DO give you things in the labs. They are just more subtle. I wonder if you MISS a piece of the tablet, if it will show up again....

I have been clearing rubble and am at 70% with only 5 pieces found. I have been watching whenever they are clearing and pause it when I am not able to watch. Chief is directing. I just hope that the other 7 pieces magically appear before its complete!

Is there a sequence to when they show up, or is it just luck?

I just got 3 rare tablet pieces in a row.

They also appear after it is complete, but very, very infrequently

Yes, if you miss a tablet piece, it will show up again. I've tried it on a test tribe. And once you've gotten a tablet piece, that piece won't show up again.

I hate to tell you but I'm a couple of days past beating the whole game and still only have 7 pieces of tablet. (have everything else other than 2 feathers), so unless my case is extreme, I doubt youre going to get them by the time you finish clearing the rubble.

100% cleared, watched the entire time. 9 out of 12 pieces showed up. Cross my fingers the other 3 will appear eventually.

I have cleared the rubble and still missing two tablet pieces. I also have one item in each collection to find. All the puzzles have been completed and I am just looking for collectbles now. Really hate to start a new game without fully completeing this one but these collectibles are not showing up.

Do you have Level 3 Leadership? Do you use the chief??

I have everything and yes I do use the chief a great deal.

Still missing the last two rare pieces, but did notice that if you put multiple kids on a single piece, you get tech points for the multiple, same as the other collectible sets.

I haven't had any tablet pieces since I finished clearing the rubble. That was a few weeks ago. Had plenty of feathers, shells, coral since then.

Even the new update hasn't changed anything.

Happened to me with my first magic tribe. I was looking for two tablet pieces and they didn't show up for weeks, Then three days ago, mychief pointed out one, and yesterday, to my surprise she pointed out the last piece. That was my last collection so I maxed my population to 125. Today I'll check for my newcomers .

With my 2nd village I decided to keep a sharp eye for the tablet pieces. I put the game on pause everytime I wasn't watching them closely. When the rubble was finally cleared...I was missing 6 tablet pieces.

Does this mean tablet pieces and collectables appear while the game is on pause?

Yes, the mushrooms and the collectibles are independent of the rest of the game's timing, they appear even when you pause the game!

It has been over 15 Isola years since I have seen a tablet piece. and I am always roaming around looking to collectables! Though it probably doesn't help that the 3 I need are rare! Guess I will have to wait until cheif helps me find them.

I have a real fear of leaving my game running when I leave it. I have no clue if the puzzle pieces that would show up while the game was unattended would ever show back up. I still need one puzzle piece and one feather.

I know alot of people are saying that they put their games on pause while moving the rubble in hopes that this will prevent collectables from appearing but this hasn't been my experience. I often put my game on pause to move villagers around and have seen collectables and mushrooms appear and dissapear while the game was on pause. Maybe it's just my game but pause seems to only stop the clock and the villagers from moving. I have even used pause when I want to make a baby and one of the villagers won't stop running around and have always been successful.

I have to share this: today, in my second magic tribe, I completed all the collectibles even before finishing the bath (this is my third tribe with completed collections). An hour later, one of my girls came up with the first twins of the tribe. Gee, am I lucky or what?

I always pause my game, before going to bed or going anywhere else. But knowing that the collectibles still appear and reappear, even if it's paused, really unnerves me. That means the game has to be played CONSTANTLY, no stopping, no time for sleep, etc, to MAKE SURE you catch EVERYTHING. Scary thought.

Though I did experienced that once with vv1, for two days I didn't sleep, on the third day I set up my alarm clock (even though the game was paused) to return back to the game as soon as possible .

I finished clearing the rubble a few days ago and hadn't seen a tablet piece since then. I JUST found a new uncommon one a few minutes ago so, YES, they do still show up. It just seems that it is not that often.
