I have l2 of medicine and I tried dropping various people in the sick area to train doctors but nothing happened. I tried dropping the tribal chief, a child, and an adult there and they didn't do anything. What am I missing?

Drop the adults on the shelves to the right by the entrance. That should work. Children don't work and the Tribal Chief just "directs work."

Actually, I've been able to have my tribal chief heal a villager when they are sick. She didn't have any skill when she became chief, but now she is an adept healer.

Okay, this is really odd. I KNOW I have l2 of medicine. I tried dropping a villager with no healing skill on the table near the entrance and NOTHING happened! What's going on??

SP, the villager you're dropping, is she/he an adult? Does the villager have 'working' as a like/dislike? Try dropping IN THE MIDDLE of the table near the entrance. Is the villager the Chief?
