How do I get the diamond out of the firepit? I haven't even got level 2 of my faction yet and I've been playing for 3 days straight. I only have 44,018 and I have level 1 in leadership, 2 in restoration, 1 in alchemy, 1 in medicine and 1 in science. Why is my game going so slow when other people have already finished? Well, the all men might pose a bigger problem for you than the diamond in the fire. You can hope for an event that will give you more people.

Your game is progressing so slowly because you only have 5 villagers left. Of course, more villagers mean more food resources are used up so you should just have the amount that your current food will support. And like Cadillac said, the all males is a problem but you might get a miraculous event.

I was up to 9 but the food was so scarse that they started to die I really don't know how we are expected to get enough food and buy the second level of faction, which by the you need 50,000 points. If you know how I can get that many points with 9 people whilst waiting for my trees to grow, and this is on fast,I'll have learnt something.I had restared 3 times now and it is impossible to do it fast enough. Even if I started to buy other things first and faction later, I'd still be [censored] because you need level 2 faction to get the pitcher plant

i would restart the game until i got at least one villager who is a runner

You may need to build another hut before you're able to increase the population. If you try putting two villagers together does it say "There isn't adequate housing to support more population" or something like that?
