This is a statue question though not related to the 'patch' issue.

So what do you do if you don't have very many experienced builders and you've finished all the building puzzles? How will I ever have enough experienced people to push the statue for HOURS?

Thats what I've been wondering also.

I had to drop my villagers on the huts 'fixing hut' until they got to Trainee Builder. Then I tossed them to the statue. (All my other Builders had reached or were about to reach the elderly status by the time I was able to work on the statue)

Thanks, Squishedfairy. I was hoping there was a 'potion' or something that would help move it faster. Guess I'd better get some folks checking on huts, etc. to build up enough to be able to push. My builders are all elderly and they aren't going to be with my tribe much longer. Thanks for the help.

Have you tried all the potions that can be made in the alchemy lab?

Ahh, LadyCFII, thanks. I'll go check it out. Otherwise, it'll be YEARS before they get the statue up the ramp. I have NO trainee builders - so getting them to 'adept' by fixing huts could take a long, LONG time. Thanks. I'll go check it out.

OK - so there's a potion to make them 'healthy'. But for those already Elderly, it doesn't seem to do much. I mean, their status doesn't change to 'healthy'. Is THAT the potion you were thinking of, LadyCFII? I read the list and didn't see anything else that looked like it would work. I'm pretty desperate - they're all gray haired and no builders waiting in the wings. Thanks!!

When I drop my chief on the statue I get the message that, "Your Cheif needs more leadership to do this." I don't know what this means or how to fix it.

Leadership is a tech ... What level do you have at the moment?

bethlham - i need more advice. I'm using the 'speed walking' potion. It makes them move very fast. A couple of them have 'exercised' (carrying the boulder up the ramp, push ups, etc.) but they don't seem to be gaining building skill. Any advice? Overnight, all my 'adept' builders died. I have no builders with high enough skill to push the statue. I have a few I'm having work on huts but that will take awhile. Thanks for your help.

mmaxe01, I have a little tip: Gently select a villager who is exercising (without picking her/him up) and then keep an eye on the status bar. If s/he gained skill, a message that says something like "Your villager improved in construction" will appear. If no skill was awarded, the message will be "The villager wasn't successful this time" (along with the villager shaking her/his head and saying "no" or "uh-uh").

I micromanaged my villagers' fitness regimens for about an hour to get enough trainee builders to push the statue - they should all be ready for the Boston Marathon by now!

Could someone please help re the statue and chief... if he stops leading how do you get him to start again??? My statue is at the top, but I left my game and now I can't get him to start again!

I'm so sorry I didn't see this post until now! You can always use PM if you don't get an answer. Here's a spoiler...begin highlight: orchid, cactus, tiger lily makes villager want to exercise. Let them completely finish the exercise to see if they gain building skill. If not, try again! I exercise my whole village at once. This works on kids and nursing moms! end highlight

When I drop my chief on it says she "can only do this every 24 hours??? I have got the statue on top[ of the stairs and then she (my chief) kept getting pg so I waited til she was 51 and now I cna't get her to supervise the job??? Any help out there?
