Quick question: If I change the difficulty level for one tribe will it change it for the rest of my tribes? I've started two tribes on easy and I want to start a third on a higher difficulty level (normal or hard). If it does change the difficulty level for all tribes, will that affect my current tribes or does the difficulty level only matter in the beginning of the game.

I think its mattar only for the the tribe u selected.

I also have a question about the difficulty level. Does my tribe's difficulty level change if i alter it after i started my tribe?

I think so, if u alter in between the game it changed. Like it happens wth the speed of the game.

FYI--It didn't seem to alter for me when I tried to change it from "Normal" to "Easy" in the middle of the game. The trees still bore the same amount of fruit as for a "Normal" game.

I think that if you change the difficulty of a tribe, you have to restart the tribe! When you start a new tribe, it will be at the last difficulty that you have chose before.
The "normal" difficulty is the one that is set at the beginning.

I m not sure wht effects it takes when u select a hard or normal difficulty, i think in the hard diff level villagers learn not so easily, hard to get tech points, in alchemey i think ur potions will burst more often (till u didnt reach level 3). Hard to make babies, more unfavourable events, N May be many more things which can make ur task difficult.

I had trouble the first two tries on Easy Difficulty. Started with 0 food, little to no rain and food was hard to come by. I definitely advise AGAINST doing the tutorial on Easy, or else make sure that you don't do the pregnancy part. I did get a lot of collectables on Easy, but food is way easier on Normal.

edit: unless, of course, you already know about the Chief trick and go straight for the use of it.

So I started my third tribe on normal and is definately easier to get food on normal (rather than on easy), in fact it's a cake walk. I ended up with double the oppotunity for food (think about it: 2 instead of one)!

I made my first tribe on easy mode and my entire tribe starved badly too. I remade my 2nd tribe on normal and have no trouble so far. However, i'm not sure if that's due to me learning from my first tribe's mistakes.
