The Tribal Chief can make magic food every 24 hours. If you pause your game, and ONLY turn it back on long enough for him to make food each morning...it will build up a food supply to help get you through till you can get enough tech points for other sources.


I figured this out kind of by accident. None of my villages are close to starving, but I havent had much time to play the game recently. But I load it each morning for a few minutes to have to Chief teach the kids, and figured out I can get the food also.

This saved our tribe! Otherwise, I was going to have to strongly suggest that we start over.

I read the message in the guide forum "how to get food" - but that wasn't the path we had gone down...

It was either gonna be mushroom hunting long enough to aquire 30,000 tech points, or find some other way through these forums.

And, YOU provided the answer. We had not been using the Chief to lecture the kids each day.... just never tried that!

lol - i am having difficulty with keeping food stored. even with chief hitting the bin with a pass of his hands. i now have all three trees planted - but there growing/harvest times are really long (especially when i have timing set to slow) i rarely leave paused for long periods. is there anything else that i can do? to help feed my tribe (the next level of nature is 50k points away still .. so, no fishing atm.
