Well, the 14 & 15 year olds are now finally over 18 and capable of breeding. But it's hard to wait on them to get old enough to have babies.

I did. I got some twins and triplets. I also had an event - one of those "barrel full of babies" things. And a few were girls.

I've completed every puzzle in my nature tribe. I just need to finish the collectables, especially the tiles. Magic tribe I'm not that far into. I had to restart them a lot because they kept starving to death.

In case this wasnt mentioned - if your chief is female, she can still have a baby... then she acts as a nursing mother...

My chief at the time was in her 60s. When I posted this I had only 2 women who were under 50. And three who were under 18 so couldn't breed and every child the two that could breed were always male.

Aha - just thought it might help someone who had not thought to try the Chief as a breedalbe female.

We are in a major food crisis at the moment - saved by a tidbit someone posted here - but still, it slow going to build up food.

So, we have been avoiding breeding (now at 15, youngest is at least 8).

This message makes me realize to keep in mind that our 2 original adult women are going to age out pretty soon.

ETA: OOPS!!! They already did! 51 and 53. I also have a 40 year old, so I just got her knocked up (by a 21 year old!). Otherwise, we only have girl children at this time. Looks like she is gonna be a nursing mother until she hits 50!

once you do end up getting a male, dont make the mistake of specialising him in the parenting skill, or he will run around making all the females moms. :), i tend to have 3 females that do nothing but breed. but i also make sure i stagger the babies out as well, so you dont end up with a village population that are all the same age.
