SPOILER -- I have a question about the Statue
I wanted to know if anyone knows whether the time it takes to completely repair the statue is shortened by the number of builders? Also, does it make any difference if they are master builders? I know that the settings of Slow, Normal and Fast make a difference, but do not know if it makes any difference based on the number of people working on it and/or whether they are all master builders, adept, training, etc.

Yes, the number and skill of your builders does affect the time. I know that it seems to take forever, but the wait is definitely worth it.

Thanks to you both. I figured that was probably the case. I have 8 master builders all trying now. They started trying last night. I left them on fast for about 3 or 4 hours of it, then paused overnight. I just checked this morning (after putting them back on fast and waiting a few minutes) and the head of the statue is just barely still touching the seating part of the round seating area! It says there is 11 hours and 7 minutes to go still -- and that's on fast! hahaha, I have to leave to go to work in an hour, so I'm going to be changing that to either slow or normal. Makes me nervous leaving it on fast when I can't be here to keep checking. Can't wait to see what happens when it's finally done! :-)

I put as many builders on as the game would allow. If you put too many it tells you that they are confused and there is nowhere to push. I tried to keep the master builders and adept builders and they seemed to work faster. They liked to take breaks, so I had to keep putting them back on. The hours go down the more people are on it.

My statue is now near the top, the head is hanging over the scaffolding/bottom part of the statue. I can no longer click on it and get a reading of how much longer either. Actually, when it was still on the way up, but almost all the way, I stopped being able to find out how much longer. At first, I thought I was just clicking on the wrong spot, but no matter where I click, I can not get an estimate of how much time is left. Is this a glitch?

The resolution to statue problems is to download v1.00.04 (see Arthur's sticky post about that update).

Hi, my statue is still in the early stages of moving. I have all of my builders working on it, but cannot train any new builders as all building projects are now complete. I have visions of all my builders dying off before the statue task is completed. Does anyone know of any way to train new builders when all you can set them to is fixing huts - mind-numbingly slow! Any advice appreciated.

Fixing the huts is the best way. Slow, I agree, but less complicated and more reliable than the alternative, giving them an exercise potion.
In any event, pushing the statue is a long-term commitment, so there is time to train the new builders up to trainees.

My chief just wont go "directing work"! Why!? =( The statue is on the top of the "hill" now, but no one can push it since the chief won't help...

You should look at Arthur's post if you don't have v1.00.04 (look on your game's menu screen).

Update: getting on with statue project and have now managed to train two builders by putting them to fixing huts. Things going well at the moment, loving the game.

I am really wondering what is going on now, it has been days and the statue is now up there, within inches of its final resting place and you can hear the processor of my computer whirring on and on, this is obviously taking a great deal of energy worldwide to complete this task! Can't help thinking I should switch it off, but I want to see the statue task completed.

Hi, my statue is at the top, the head hanging over the scarfolding. I cant get the time anymore, nor will my chief direct the work anymore. If I put him to the statue he wants to inspect food, or is proud of his tribe. Builders wont pick up work anymore. It took me 3 days to get the stautue this far. I am afraid my chief will die (72) before work is complete. Any suggestions? For me at least, the chief was able to continue directing work - always from the same spot. So try putting the chief in the same spot on the level ground - a short distance out from where the statue originally was, rather than putting him/her on the statue where it is now. ----============================ Also, I too was worried my builders would die off and Id have no good way to make more. But - as the statue moves up the ramp, there isnt much time left and there is only "room for" a few to work on it at once. -- Another thing I did (becuase I was worried about builders dying off before I finished) was I left it on slow most of the time - because if someone gets sick or dies - the chief leaves to tend to that. Plus, people leave (to wash their face and slurp water!) even if the chief is directing. This way, only a short time was passing until I got them back on task. ANother thing I did (because I had got the idea from this forum that running out of builders could be an issue) was I kept anyone who was already a builder AWAY from building the clothing hut as much as I could - so that all of htat work was avialable for others .... and speciically choose the youngest able-to-work people to do it.

I just barely had "Trainee Builder's" and they were allowed to Help move the Statue! But then the Statue got to a weird angle, and their was only room for about 5 Builder's, so of course I put my Master's on that, but when you just need Body's? Trainee Builder's will help move Statue! :):)
