very early in the game, my fire went out and there was a white gem.
BUT, I didn't know how to retrieve it and after trying many things, I gave up and restarted the fire.
Since then,now knowing what to do, I have let the fire go out a half dozen times, and the gem has not appeared again.
Will it re-appear if I wait or do I need to start over?
