I got a bee hive and 3 fruit trees. where do i get more? im worried ill run out soon.
Also what is a runner and how do i make it?

A runner is a villager who has "running" in his/her "Likes"!
The advantage is that he/she does every things faster (in running!!) But you can't do it, it's random! Maybe an event can do it

oh right what about my food problem? can u help? its getting desperate

also what are the benefits of choosing magic or nature? it says some kind of herb. doesnt explain. pros and cons.

how do i get more seeds for the orchard? got the first one, tried to plant one of the fruits but it just disappeared. we're starving out here!!

uhhhmmm i did click the question mark. it goesnt explain what the herbs do.

oh and i read the guide and saw how to beat all puzzles. didnt see another food source revealed :S

The herbs are all used for making potions. The special herb allows you to make additional, beneficial potions.

I have trees, honey, but need real food

you can only get 3 fruit trees

anki... got the first 4 puzzzels, 1st level of nature, 2nd level of science, medicine, alchemy, and 17 people, almost at 50,000 points to get 2nd level of nature. to get the sharks.

help. did the pitcher, orchid, orchid and it blew up so tried, orchid orchid, pitcher and it blew up. what am i missing????

Potions won't stop blowing up completely until you have level 3 alchemy.

just keep trying the potion with different villagers. It took me a couple of tries before it didn't blow up. Must not like certain villagers. (Like my Chief blew up on him :))

pros magic= better science
pros nature= faster replenish of crops,just not sure of how much faster.
you just have to try each 1 and see for your self witch 1 you like best.i have 1 island that is magic and another that is nature.

Another food source is fishing after completion of Puzzle 11

Hint with food if you are really desperate put your chief on the food bin and get him/her to create magic food, then pause for 24 hours and wake them up to create more food! Only a temporary solution but may help to keep your villagers from starving before they build up enough tech points. ALso keep looking for mushrooms, the red top mushrooms are worth a lot more food points than the brown.

you need orchid, orchid and pitcher herbs to get rid of sharks then you can fish

It doesn't matter what order you put the herbs in the pot.
If it's blowing up, just keep trying with different villagers like squishedfairy said. Be patient.

thanks amelia, finally got level 2 and working on 3. but did get the sharks dealt with, just kept blowing up the lab until it worked, at least no one got killed.

SPOILERISH ... highlight here you can use your chief to create food once a day. If you food gets very low, pause your game until 24 hr. pass.... its slow but effective

Another way to get food... if you can make it rain.... then make it rain. Mushrooms appear more frequently when it rains.

Before I got rid of the sharks I was making it rain constantly:P

When it rains, you can put someone on the lift and a piece of fruit will drop. If you already have all of your trees planted, they will carry it to the food bin.

Has anybody else noticed that when you hear the wind chimes that a collectible shows up? I also see them show after hearing the crickets sing.
