Has anyone else noticed that the villagers of VV3 seem a lot less self-sufficient than VV2?

What I mean is that VV2 I can leave alone for days and the villagers manage to take care of themselves...the 14 year olds will try different things and gain skill, etc.

But VV3, the young adults all just seem to plop their butts in front of the fire and just sit there. When I got up this morning, I had about 15 kids ranging in age from 21 to 14 all lounging in front of the fire. Only 2 had a smidge of any skill. And trying to train them...sheesh. All they want to do is sit around the fire. Even when they gain a skill point or two, it's back to the fire.

So yeah, has anyone else noticed this? It's kind of disappointing. I don't know if I'll want to try keeping a tribe going as long as I have for VV2 if they are going to require this kind of constant attention.
