Hey,

I just started playing. THe kids are getting mushrooms and the colletibles. The adults see something in the trees. How to I get food for them? They are building a hut and doing research. I see the machine. To fix it do I need a master builder?

Did you solve the bee/honey puzzle yet? It's a start. There's also a fruit that can be planted that will set up a fruit tree you can harvest (minimum 3 hour wait for that one). I haven't gone far enough yet to figure out the rest of it.

Solve the Honey, plant the tree and gather mushrooms. Everything will start to fall into place when the time is right. DON'T grow you village to fast or you will never make it.

Is ther a way to get the bees back to make more honey?

You can't get the bees back; but every so often the honey will replenish itself, not a whole lot but a little bit, which will get you by while you are waiting to get to other food sources.

Does the fruit on the trees replenish itself?

Yes, but very slowly.

Once you have more trees the food situation will be much less stressful. Just don't grow your tribe past 9-10 villagers.
