Does anyone know how many kids it takes for a mom to become a Master Parent?

I don't know how many kids it would take, but there are other ways of increasing the Parenting skill.

Possible spoiler:

Try dropping an adult on a child. They will tell the child a story, and if successful, they will improve in parenting. Also, when you try to get a couple "indoors", even if they aren't successful, they can still improve their parenting skills. That will only work on the villager that you drop on the other one.

If you don't want your population to increase, you can also wait until the gals are past child-bearing age (50, I believe), and then take them around to go "smooching".

I know both of those helps but I'm wondering if anyone has just had a parent keep having kids and knows how many kids until they are Masters?

I didn't count sorry but I did get three Master Parent moms from just repeatedly having kids.

I was also able to get two of the Master Parent moms to become Masters in other areas as well.

Oh. Oops. Sorry. Totally misunderstood your question. As to keeping track of how many kids a dedicated female parent needs to have for mastery, I haven't ever tried that. May be someone else who has had more time with VV3 (or VV2) might be able to share their results if they used such an approach.

In VV3 I have found that 4 or 5 kids is enough. In VV2 it's much, much more.

I have done that in one of my later VV2 games, in VV2, it takes about 10 kids.

I haven't been playing vv3 very long, so unsure of it as of now.

I'm so glad it takes around 5 in VV3. It didn't seem right in VV2 that a mother wasn't a Master Parent after 6 kids.
