I read another thread where someone had trouble using the lift, and I'm having the same problem.

I've tried everything, having one villager stand on it and trying to get another to stand on the bucket, or having just one try to get in the bucket.

No matter what I do, or how careful I am, no one will get in the bucket!

In my case it just happened by nature that my bucket filled up wich water. Success

You don't need 2 people to use the lift. All you need is an adult to stand on the flat part when it rains.

By the way, the chief can also do a "weather dance" and MAKE it rain...

i think you will find that just 1 person will do the trick...

You have to have someone standing on the lift when it starts to rain. The rain will fill the bucket and lift the person up.
