My new one is 3 it's adorable seeing a 3 year old "contemplate the tribe."

My youngest is 9 so far....but I only have 2 tribes going and they are each on their first chief.

Does the game assign a villager to be chief before they try on the robe?

In my first game, the first person I sent to the robe became the chief. (and that was before I even knew what was supposed to happen)

In my second game I had to go thru all of my adults and two children before I found someone who fit the robe. (the 9 year old)

My only tribal chief was 5 when she donned the robe. Her name was Lava for six years, but then I renamed her Lala. She's now the ripe old age of 18

My youngest was three when she became a chief, her name is Bikini! She is now 44 and has four little kiddies.

Tufi is my 3 year old chief in the 2nd game. The first game the chief was about 22. She just died in her 70s. So now I've got a 30 year old chief. Yet another female one.

My youngest was a little 7-year-old girl name Mahaki. She died at the age of 61, so she got me the Legendary Leader award!

My youngest and only cheif started being a 8 year old little boy named Motu. He's 35 years old now, and has had several children. He's going to get the legendary leader award for me.

My oldest is 59! I was hoping for a kid to be the next Tribal Chief not an elderly lady.

Mine was 2 when he got the robe. He was brand new but he was the only one it fit.

same here he was just 2 years old...Now he's 9...Such a responseable child for his age.

My first tribal chief just died. My second chief is a 3 year old named Gin, who happens to be the son of the former chief.

In both my games the chief has die of old age can't seem to find new chief does it take awhile?

OK, I LOVE having a child as chief. He is more useful than an adult, as he can go out and find mushrooms and collect items. My other chief just seemed to wander around, contemplate and point.

Well, sad news, I had to run errands - set my game for slowest speed - and when I came back for some reason even though I know I clicked "slow" I found it had gone back to fast and all my members of my 2nd tribe, including my child-chief, were dead. Had to start over.

My Nature tribe is still going strong, but I'd really like to get a magic tribe established. I wish collecting tech points went faster.

My child chief was 5 and cute cute cute! When she grew up she looked just like my mom! And now when I see my mom, I want to call her "Chief!" LOL!!!

If you put your chief at a work site, they will start "supervising" and it's supose to make the work go faster. I'm not sure you can do that with kids. I'm still on my first chief and he's always been some old guy.

Mine was 3 years old, and she was totally useless at the beginning, now she just aids in making it rain at the age of 23

I had a 3 year old once; other than that, 8 was my youngest. Always hilarious to see my chief "playing in the dirt" and "building sandcastles".

My little triplets were just 2 years old as the chief died. And one of them was the new chief!

In a new tribe I started my chief is 2!!! and has done several duties already!! she is also useful for firewood collecting and potion making!

I've had 2 year olds and 70-somethings become chiefs. I just wish that chiefs under the age of 18 could teach the children.

My newest chief from my newest tribe when he was 4 years old (he started when he was 3 though) was the cutest little guy! Here is my itty bitty chief lecturing:

I tried to have my chief teach children, but she would not. Do they have to be childbearing age to teach children? I do have the necessary leadership tech by the way.

A child chief cannot educate other children. Your chief must be at least age 18 to educate children.
