It took me too long to figure out how to work the lift and many of my best villagers died of starvation. This is depressing. All villagers constantly worried about food, honey runs out, fruit is used up, chief can only do emergency food once a day...And then they died.

One tribe has only 2 people now, a mom age 38 and son age 8. I'm hoping for incest
In the meantime, food is not a problem, for once.

And I have one tribe that may be able to augment their orchard in time. It will be touch and go, 0 food for quite a while and new tree will take hours to mature.

I hope you can save the little tribe. Many people have told heroic tales of just such a situation. You might be inspired to read the Story of the Hard Tribe. You can find it here.

Hi cnm - I'm dare2cnect, and pretty new here. I just read your post and am hoping you can help me some! You sure are further than me! My honey ran out and I don't want my VV's to die! I know that there is supposed to be fruit "high up in the trees", but how the heck do they get to it? I've been concentrating on getting tech points so I could get the next level of "nature" which was supposed to help the food supply to increase but I sure haven't seen an increase! Still 0 food except for the occasional mushroom! Help! What do I do! And what does it mean that the "chief" can do emergency food once a day? How does that happen? Who is the chief? I did manage to plant a tree, not knowing what that is going to do but it will be awhile until it matures. Can you help a little? I do like figuring out as much as I can myself, but I don't want to start over when they all die! I'm kinda starting to love my little villagers!! Thanks much!

Upgrade your Restoration as soon as possible.
Then 3 Adept Builders can restore the lift.
Keep a Farmer standing on the lift's platform, they will be raised up when it rains and a tree seed for planting will fall.

Have each of your Villagers try on the chief's robe. When you have a chief, he/she can grant food, in a limited way.

Villagers won't *stay* on the lift forever. It's best to wait until the first raindrops hit the ground, then put a villager on it.

Bring Chief over to the food hut to grant the food.

I think mom and son are going to make it. They're both max healthy and have plenty of food. She'll be getting older, but I think still child-bearing when he grows up.

Hi Everyone so what happens when all your food source is gone, my three tree's are empty and my honey is also gone, my chief only made 90 units of food for the day?..I am on Level 2 of Restoration,Alchemy,Medicine,Science, Level 1 of Nature...can somebody help..Thanx

You need level 2 of Nature so you can get the extra herb.

Then you can make a potion to get rid of the sharks so you can fish.

It is orchid+orchid+pitcher (new herb) to make the potion

(double check this. I accidentally typed lotus.)

You also need to make sure that your tribe's population doesn't get over 10-12 villagers until you have solved puzzle 11.

Can you get the people to fish Before you get rid of the sharks?

I'm fairly sure you can't fish until the sharks are gone.

You need to get level 2 of nature. Then, make a potion thats
Pitcher + Orchid + Orchid. That will get rid of sharks & you can fish!

Can you get rid of the sharks if you are in magic the pitcher herb is not there, there is a Berry where the Pitcher is in Nature
so I am wondering to get rid of the sharks can I use

To anybody who has completed puzzle 5. You know how after you complete puzzle 5 you can make it rain, my question is if you keep making it rain will the orchard regenerate food faster? The only other benefit to this skill is greater chance of collecting mushrooms
