The VVIII game I downloaded came with a read me file that said it was a beta version.

Did I get the right version?

I'm by no means a computer techie, but if you check the main menu screen, lower left corner, if your version says "1.00.02" or "1.00.03" you have the same version as the rest of us.

Arthur accidentally overlooked one of the readme files in the game downloads. None of the game downloads are beta versions, despite what the readme file says. The problem has since been corrected.
