Kin, my Master Builder is 67... he's my only Master Builder.
He is DIGGING and digging but no one seems to come or be able to help him.
Worse is Kin keeps running off to fish, swim, do research, drink well water, look at the catus... anything but stay put to dig!

Is Kin the only one who can dig it up?
He has started it, but must he also finish it?

What if he dies on me??

PLEASE help!

I hope I get an answer before Kin dies. (I know u will try, Barb. But i do understand that it's a US holiday and u prob need a rest too.)

sigh.....

It does take a while to get there - but if you're maxed out on Medecine, he'll probably survive long enough - but that also depends on the difficulty level you're playing at. My current game is "Normal", and my villagers tend to die in their late 80s. Take a look at your stats and see what age your oldest villager is / was.

If nobody else volunteers to help him, try dragging someone over (if they even have the tiniest bit of expertise, they should get stuck in).

As for taking breaks, how would you feel if you were 67 and were made to dig all day, every day?

Good Luck.

My oldest vill is 71... I have not accumulated enuf tech pts to buy 3rd level medicine.

I got a break though... my persistence to drag Kin back to the sweet spot over the last couple hours finally got him and some other guys working on it - The celebrations held at their success was worth it!

My master builder died... yeah, I guess a 64 year old man shouldn't be out digging in the hot sun every day, but what else could I do? Fortunately, one of the other builders who hadn't been helping with the dig had been fixing huts; she went and buried him and came back and picked up where he left off. However, the progress is going so slowly that I'm positive they wait for me to turn the game on and scuttle back to work when they see me coming...
