Seriously! When I have little kids, I spot no Collectables, but when my kids are all grown up (I have no more room for breeding because my builders are lazy :P) I spot 2 within 2 minutes!

You're not alone, but it's just the feathers that hate me. I've got 10 out of 12 of the turtle shells, sea shells and tablet pieces....but heck if any more feathers will show up and I only have 5 of those after 2 solid days of playing. I was beginning to think it was just me that they hated.

The feathers are actually the one I have the most of: 11 of 12. They show up everywhere in case that helps you out.

Yea, I've found them in some strange places.....hanging off the edge of the rocks, stuck between the beds in the hospital, on the floor of the research room. They just don't show up near as often as the other things for me.....dunno why....strange.

sorry to hear that. i was doing an up-down sweep of the entire area constantly at first to try to get as many collectibles as possible. I am burned out from searching now and will leave the remaining rares to the...not a spoiler if you've read the tech page...the chief to have the kids find.

I'm not particularly bad in any collectable catagory, but I'm sure not good. I miss half the things I see, because either I can't find a kid in time, or I find it when it's about to disappear. But, I still have a fair amount of all catagories.

Its wierd. I found an uncommon feather 7 times in one hour...and a common feather twice!!

well, I don't have any tablet pieces!!

they look like pieces of tablet really.. just kinda have to search for them. i've noticed they cycle through but are less common it seems

I never noticed any tablet pieces at all until my builders started clearing the debris below the hospital!
