when i installed the patch to my game it said my trial has run out but its not a trial

That shouldn't have happened if you activated your original game version with the activation information you received when you bought the game. Have you tried entering your activation code again?

is there a way i can find my activation code in my game folder? in order to get my code i have to wait for my mom to come home (6 hrs from now )

The activation code is not accessible, except from the email that you received when you purchased the game.
