you only need 3 adept builders. I get lots of points quickly by setting all my villagers to reaserching at the same time (except one farmer if you still have a food source). In addition, there is an area southeast of the lift where your builders can "clear leaves", that will help you move their status to "adept".

I fixed it with 2 adept builders and the village chief.

The "food-making potion" is actually a potion that helps you "discover" a new food source. For that, you *do* need level 2 of whichever Faction you have joined.

No, Patricia. That's incorrect.

The first time you take your chief to the food bin, (s)he will create extra food. It doesn't have anything to do with potions.

i tried it and the chief just ate some food and walked off didn't get any extra at all

The "orange" is a color. Look around your island and see what herb is orange in color.

**PLEASE NOTE: There is no potion that makes your chief create food! It's a power the chief has and can do it every 24 hours.**

I believe "orange" refers to the tiger lily, which is at the northern part of the map, on the path. And it was decided in the Potions thread that that potion does not cause your tribal cheif to create food, it just makes your villagers hungry

Yes, you can plant more trees. It's one of the puzzles. There are three types of trees: banana, mango, papaya. If you've planted one, you can do it again the same way. The puzzle is finding the seeds. Good Luck!

i have discovered that after a rain, look around carefully for a couple of minutes as you will get an average of 3 mushrooms, usually includes a red one. this was very helpful to me

I cannot build the lift. I have three adept builders. I have picked my faction. And when I direct them to the lift, they just tell me that additional research is necessary. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Aha. Thank you. I got it; but one of my peeps is quite clumsy and doesn't quite jump to where she needs to be. How frustrating to wait for the optimal conditions & then have Ms. Clumsy face fail.. I won't be using her again!

One seed will be lying on the ground when you first start the game. If you plant it, it becomes the first tree. Other seeds must be reached using the lift.

How do you fix the lift? Ihave 2 adapt builders and the Chief but when I put all of them over there they do nothing.

Can you only buy one faction or can you buy both?

Only one faction per tribe.


You can have two games at one time...and have one tribe be Nature and the other be Magic, but I only recommend that you know how to play the game first.

If you are talking about repairing the lift, Hannah, you need level 2 restoration and *three* adept builders, not just two.

where do i find the pitcher plant? I have level 2 of restoration and level 1 of nature faction

Look in the guide section, Hannah. There's a map of all the herb locations there.

(You need level 2 Nature faction before you can get the Pitcher Plant though)

oh dear, that was frustrating to read all that and it went all round my problem but never actually gave me the answer!!! lol!! i seem to be having trouble getting my people interested in this lift. its fixed and lifts up and down when it rains, but the only ones that go anywhere near it are children, who randomly (though NEVER when it rains) go on to play see-saw, but i put adults near it and they just stand there like ignorant nancies!! i even tried chucking them on it over and over again to see if they'd do something but i had no joy......any help???

The lift is usefull only to get one fruit and to plant it in the orchard or to put it in the food bin if you already have 3 trees!
As soos as it begins to rain, quickly put a villager on the plateform of the lift. When he's up a fruit will fall, then drop the villager on it. That's all!

As soon as it starts raining press the spacebar to pause the game, then move a villager onto the lift.

watch out for lotus, tiger lily, rose, it killed my adept scientist, work accident, age 21.

chief can make potions,

tiger lily, orchid,cactus, did not make 300 food for me, did make 100+, so was ok,
