Just wondering... if I have an elderly villager nursing a baby and she dies on me, what happens to the baby?
Seems like nursing takes about 2 years and i think it was about that long then my villager decided to die on me.
The baby disappeared! What happened? I could not find any new 2 yr old villager addition to my list.

And how do I know who has died?
Sometimes I just suddenly realise that a villager is nt around then i look at the tombstones and i see an addition.
But i cant immediately tell who it was.

Collection of research points takes FOREVER!
Any clue how to speed that up?

I am having LOADS of fun... have a problem doing anything else for the moment.

Incidentally,is there a direct correlation between a villager's age and her nursing period?
My sweet 47 yrs old Itchi seems to have a prolonged nursing period. 2 cycles of nursing women have gone by and she is still nursing!

If a nursing mother dies, the baby dies too. That's the risk of allowing the elderly women to become mothers. Since the baby had not survived long enough to have its own identity, you will see only one tombstone.

Did Itchi, by any chance, drink the contents of a phial at any time? One of the side-effects of becoming young again is that any baby born during her period of "re-aging" will be nursed until the effects of the liquid have completely worn off.

The speed at which research points is accumulated increases in three ways: each scientist produces more points as they gain research experience, growing the population allows you to have more researchers, and higher levels of village science technology increase the number of research points that each villager produces.

LDW is developing an update to Village Sim that will contain some of the most-requested new features. Arthur will post an announcment on their site when it's ready for release.

Once you have reached the maximum population, which occurs when your tribe has grown to 65 villagers (for most devices), then puzzle 10 will have to wait until at least one villager dies, since it depends upon the ability to produce babies (in addition to other puzzles and village tech).

If your villagers have built all three huts and you get the message that says there's not enough housing when you try to breed, you've reached the maximum population for your device(s). If someone with one of those devices wants to chime in on what the maximum population is for their particular device, that would probably help out here!
